Hulu had been providing free online TV and online Movies for awhile now. The big news is that Hulu is starting a premium subscription service, called Hulu Plus. This announcement came out on June 29, 2010. The cost per month is just under $10. That's a little pricey.

Hulu Plus lets you watch TV online, watch movies online and see more content with a higher definition. Okay, make sure you have a fast internet service provider account. You'll be pulling down big streams of data, so you need a fat pipe.

You can expect to see more TV episodes over the internet in the months ahead. This lets you watch what you want, when you want. Hulu Plus will insert commercials into the TV episodes as a way to keep the monthly subscription costs down and generate revenue for the owners of Hulu. Hulu needs to make a buck, just like any business.
